AVG has a simple interface, with a single window, that lists all modules through its own icons. If you prefer to turn off any module, then right click on the corresponding icon and choose “Ignore the state of this component”. Obviously, AVG uses a “ON/OFF” state mechanism to determine whether a particular module need to be turned on/off. However, it could have been better if the menus like “Ignore the state of this component” had not been named so technical.
