JDownloader is an open source, platform independent download manager that simplifies downloading files from rapidshare.com or megaupload.com. This excellent tool is now available for use as a portable version as well!
JDownloader is a very good rapidshare download manager for both free users and premium users of Rapidshare. It is also a good tool for downloading files from megaupload. JDownloader lets you download files in multiple parallel streams and also facilitates automatic file extraction, etc. This java based tool is not only free but it supports downloading any type of file from several “link encryption” sites.
All you have to do is create the list of files to download and then start downloading them all at the same time. For downloading files from “link encryption” sites, paste the “encrypted” links on the tool’s interface and JDownloader will automatically download the files. Free download JDownloader portable edition, extract the package and double click JDownloaderPortable.exe to start using it.
You can also download and install the tool from PortableApps.com, extract the Jdownloader package downloaded above to the portable directory and start JDownloader through the menu in the PortableApps.com tool.
