How to use redsnow?
To use redsnow, upgrade the iphone and ipod Touch devices to firmware version 3.0 and then run redsn0w to activate and jailbreak the device.
While redsnow can unlock iPhone 2G, you should download ultrasn0w to unlock iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch. UltraSnow is available via APT (cydia and icy), and you can use that to unlock your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch.
Remember that redsnow can work only on firmware 3.0.
