  • BranchCache: Decrease the time branch office users spend waiting to download files across the network.
  • Federated Search: Find information in remote repositories, including SharePoint sites, with a simple user interface.
  • BitLocker and BitLocker To Go: Help protect data on PCs and removable drives, with manageability to enforce encryption and backup of recovery keys.
  • AppLocker: Specify what software is allowed to run on a user’s PCs through centrally managed but flexible Group Policies.

further, Windows Media Center in Windows 7 Enterprise has been updated to manage a single TV guide containing both standard and digital high definition TV shows.

With Windows 7 Enterprise, if you’ve got a touch-screen monitor, you can just touch your computer screen for a more direct and natural way to work. You can use your fingers to scroll, resize windows, play media, and pan and zoom. For example, you can zoom in on an image by moving two fingers closer together, like you’re pinching something, or zoom out by moving two fingers apart. You can rotate an image on the screen by rotating one finger around another, and can right-click by holding one finger on your target and tapping the screen with a second finger.

The Start menu, Windows Taskbar, and Windows Explorer will all be touch-friendly, with larger icons that are easier to select with your finger. Browsing the web with Internet Explorer 8 is easier too—just use your finger to scroll down a Web page or browse your favorite links. You can even arrange the pictures in a photo album, using your fingers.

Hi! Is it possible to find some links for Windows 7 RC that actually work?
I’ve noticed that you have linked to the Microsoft Technet website, but they have since taken them off. Is there another link which still works? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks guys.
