How to use PDFcrack to crack PDF passwords?
Open a command prompt window, and run the following command.
pdfcrack -f <filename>.pdf
Replace “<filename>” with the actual file name of the password protected PDF file. If you remember the password length or if you know the user password, then you can speed up the cracking process with appropriate options. For eg., if you know the password length was either 7 or 8 characters, then you may execute the following command.
pdfcrack -f <filename>.pdf -n7 -m8
