		<description>Hey this is a great set of tips. The first one worked for me. The screen flickered probably because it was at a higher capacity(since it was a new monitor I hooked up to my older computer.) Thanks the flickering stopped.</description>

		<description>hey great tips out there. For refesh rate i would suggest the maximum i.e around 85hertz. It will relieve so much of pressure and strain from your eyes. Moreover I think if its CRT monitor, you should consider degausing it to prevent some flickering.

It sometime happen if too much of magnetic field is created around the monitor with the use of speakers near the monitor.
