Raw image file formats are becoming extremely popular in digital photography workflows because they offer creative professionals greater creative control. DNG is now well supported by several dozen software manufacturers such as Extensis, Canto, Apple, iView and more. High profile camera manufacturers like Hasselblad, Leica, Casio, Ricoh, and Samsung have introduced cameras that provide direct DNG support.
Adobe Camera Raw enables you to work on the DNG with plenty of tools, all conveniently organized in several tabs: basic adjustments, tone curve, grayscales, split toning, lens corrections, camera calibration and more. You can also preview he results of your adjustments in real time in the preview pane, and also take several snapshots along the editing process, and save custom presets for later use.

How to Install Adobe Camera Raw Plugin?
Adobe Camera Raw plugin is very easy to install on Windows. Simply unzip the archive and copy the 8bi file into the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS4/File Formats folder. Alternatively, you can follow the below steps:
- 1. Exit Photoshop CS4 and Adobe Bridge.
- 2. Open the download file, double-click Setup.exe, and follow the onscreen instructions.
- 3. Launch Photoshop CS4 or Adobe Bridge.
Adobe Camera Raw plugin works with Windows 7, Vista and Windows XP. However, it is only compatible with Photoshop CS4.
