LG Optimus 3D P920 Full Phone Specifications and Features
– LG has has just released more details about its LG Optimus 3D in MWC 2011. It promises the world’s first 3D experience on a smartphone, through its Optimus 3D that will be powered by OMAP4 (Texas Instrument’s powerful processor) and android OS.

According to LG, Optimus 3D will offer superior performance via its innovative and unique tri-dual configuration – Dual Core, Dual Channel and Dual Memory Configuration. This high end configuration promises unmatched processing speed for seamless multi-tasking, ultra speed web browsing and rendering of multimedia content and super fast start up and running of applications!
LG Optimus 3D P920 Experience – Recording, Viewing and sharing
The LG Optimus 3D will also feature a 5MP dual-lens camera to capture photos and videos in full 3D. You can immediately view the recorded content on a 4.3 inch 3D WVGA screen without the need for any 3D glasses. You can also project your favorite 3D content through 3D TVs or monitors via HDMI 1.4 with DLNA and HSPA support. Memory and Connectivity in LG Optimus 3D
It will have 8 GB storage and 512 MB RAM with a microSD card slot that is expandable up to 32GB! It will also have multiple connectivity options, including support for GPRS, EDGE, 3G (HSDPA, HSUPA) Wi-Fi, DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) and Bluetooth.
LG has also entered into an exclusive partnership with Youtube to easily upload and stream content via Youtube 3D. There will be five dedicated 3D user interfaces- Gallery, Camera, Games and Apps, Youtube 3D and the LG 3D guide.You can access these interfaces by clicking the 3D hot key.
For text messaging, it will provide support for the complete range of known messaging capabilities that includes SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and Instant messaging (IM).
LG says that this smartphone will run on Android 2.2 OS (Froyo), and it is upgradable to v2.3 (gingerbread). But do remember that Google had already released android 3.0 (Honeycomb) for tablets and android 2.4, which will receive some features of Honeycomb, is already in the making.
In addition, it will provide full support for Flash 10.1 (the version that supports mobile platforms), digital compass, A-GPS support, a MP4/DivX/XviD/H.264/H.263/WMV player with support for video playback – 1080p@24fps (for 2D playback) and 720@30fps (for 3D playback).
Overall, the smartphone sounds interesting, especially for the more complete 3D experience it promises – 3D recording, 3D Viewing and sharing over other 3D devices!
