Version 0.7 of JDownloader is now available for download. JDownloader is not only a free rapidshare downloader which simplifies downloading of files from several rapidshare links, but it also supports several other One-Click-Hosters like Megaupload.com, depositfiles.com, easyshare.com and more.
JDownloader 0.7 has a new improved graphical user interface which is primarily designed to improve performance. It can also be integrated with firefox through the popular firefox extension Flashgot.After integrating Jdownloader with firefox, you don’t have to manually run this application to download rapidshare files from Rapidshare.com or rapidhsare.de. To download the files, right click on the rapidshare links and select “Flashgot” from the context menu.
If the flashgot extension is already installed on your firefox browser and if you face any issues with the JDownloader integration, (for eg: if you cannot select JDownloader from the “Download Manager” list), you will have to download the JDownloader 0.7 version in full from their website, and install it. You may find the download link below. During the installation of Jdownloader, you will be prompted to integrate with Firefox and when you choose to do the integration, it will install the popular Flashgot extension as well.Once Flashgot is installed, you will be able to select JDownloader from the “Download Manager” list.
JDownloader can work on Windows, Linux and Mac as it a Java based application. This free download manager offers features such as downloading of files in multiple parallel streams, captcha recognition, automatic file extraction and many more. It also supports many link encryption sites and all you have to do to download any file from such sites is to paste the “encrypted” links on its interface and JD will take care of downloading the files.
