Take a photo print smartly with HP photo print gadget for vista. HP has released a photo print gadget for Vista that lets you take photo prints, by simply dragging and dropping photos on to the photo print gadget, from anywhere on your computer/PC, including file folders, supported applications, or web browsers.
HP photo print gadget is smart (infact it uses a Smart Crop technology) and has the intelligence to detect the Vista’s default printer, configure the appropriate print size, detect photo orientation, paper type, and paper tray and send the borderless photo print to the HP printer.Users can even configure multiple HP photo Print gadgets, one each for every printer.Smart crop technolgy of this gadget ensures that the print subject’s head is not cut off, when you print landscape photos.
However, as always, the users have the option to change the above default settings via “options” button in the gadget.The gadget is smart enough to work with any printer, though you can expect the best with an HP printer.
The following applications are supported for drag, drop and print photos from them:
- Gmail
- Flickr.com
- Hotmail and
- snapfish
