Fix windows installer error

Do you experience windows installer errors on your PC ? Do you get the windows installer error messages that states (or anything similar):

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed".
"Windows Installer Service could not be started".
"Could not start the Windows Installer service on Local Computer. Error 5: Access is denied".

Here is the solutiuon to fix the windows installer errors. Note that the error messages usually appears because of a failed installation of MSI Package or disabled Windows Installer service.

How to fix windows installer errors ?

To fix the windows installer error, simply unregister Windows Installer, and then reregister it. To do so, carry out the following steps:

  • Click “Start” >> Run
  • Type msiexec /unreg in the Open box, and press ENTER

  • Again click Start >> Run
  • Type msiexec /regserver in the Open box, and press ENTER
    • windows-installer-errors, windows-installer-error-1706, windows-installer-problem, installer-error
