Love your SEO Pack. Quick question.

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and recently updated my blogs theme. I am noticing the title is now using the ‘rewrite’ format even though I have manually defined a Post title (in the text field labelled Title under Platinum SEO Pack options in your post/page Write panel).

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi Rajesh,

I would like to know what happens to the 301 redirects after deavtivating Platinum SEO. One I´ve installed it, I changed my permalink structure from e.g.?p=3 to date/postname/.

Does Platinum Seo have to be installed in order to get redirected or will this work after deactivating too?
Just because I am curious and don´t understand how the redirect will be done.

There isn’t any code and I just see you making a generic statement that traffic has declined without any example of what your problem is. You post titles seem to appear correctly, as defined.

Is there a code I put into my header or a fix for the title tags? Since installing the Platinum Plugin, our traffic has dropped significantly overnight and our post titles are indexed incorrectly in Google. This is a disaster. Can you please tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks so much.

Hi there,

I just downloaded and installed your plugin here – http://www.framework-templates.com/
I inserted content for my home page title, description and keywords and left everything as the default. I can see the home page title appear on the home page, but it also shows up on all of the page. None of the other pages including the blog post seem to have the correct page title. Could this be a server issue? This site is hosted at dreamhost and is using WP 2.7.1.

Will the 301 redirect work if I change the category names? For eg,
From Old: http://www.wonderfulday.com/category/rainydays
To New: http://www.wonderfulday.com/category/pouringdays

It doesn’t seem to work on my site, any idea whether the Platinum SEO can be configure to handle that?

Hi, Thanks for the great plugin! I’m having trouble getting the home page title, description and meta tags I’ve set in Platinum SEO to show up, however. I suspect it’s because I’ve set the home page to redirect to a Page in the options panel of Wordpress.

I’m using WP 2.7.1, PHP 5, Platinum SEO 1.2.3.

Is there any workaround for this? Thanks very much!

You need to check automatic redirect.It is turned off by default.

The automatic 301 doesn’t work, unless I am using it wrong. Basically I had it set to /%postname%/ and switched it to /%category%/%postname%/

Instead of forwarding to the new location, it gives a 404 error
