Piano Sheet Music is a hand-written or printed form of piano musical notation. With the advent of internet, you can find piano sheet music online, in html or PDF formats. These can be easily printed on to a paper and used as a reference or a means to perform a piece of music.
Sheet Music is also sometimes known Musical Scores. The advantage of sheet music is, it can be studied to create a performance and to elucidate aspects of the music, that may not be obvious from mere listening. Authoritative musical information about a piece can be gained by studying the written sketches and early versions of compositions that the composer might have retained, as well as the final autograph score and personal markings on proofs and printed scores.
To Comprehend sheet music, one must have the ability to read musical notation. However such ability to read or write music is not a requirement to compose music. There are many musical composers, who have been capable of producing music in printed form, without knowing how to read or write in musical notation.
