Times Square and the history behind New year celebrations

Find out a little history about New Year’s Eve! There is this very famous American tradition – the history of the New year celebrations in Times Square.

The celebration at Times Square is a phenomenon that has packed the square full of celebrants since its start in 1904. Even during the depression, the New Year was rung in at Times Square, although they did forgo the lights.Isn’t that amazing?
